Submitting Wedding Dress Photos to Accompany Your Advert


Send us one or more wedding or catalogue photos, to accompany your advert.

You can chose one of two advert types, as below ...

A Basic advert featuring one photo (see live example)

A Multi advert featuring up to four photos (see live example)

You can send us scanned or digital photos over the internet by attaching them to an email using your normal mail program.

There are known issues with attaching photo files to webmail emails, such as those provided by Hotmail, Yahoo, Lycos, and AOL. Large photo files have a tendency to be rejected at source by the webmail system, or get lost in the ether and never arrive here.

Photos submitted by email should ideally be in JPEG or BMP format. Pictures embedded inside Word or Powerpoint documents do not always reproduce successfully.

All photo files should be optimized for the web, and ideally cropped, to reduce file sizes. All pictures used on the website are of the ratio four high by three wide, the actual sizes used are 320x240 pixels. We do have facilities to crop pictures to size, and do blur out all faces as a matter of course.

Our email server may well reject any email whose total file size is over 5Mb, depending on the volume of traffic at the time. Large photo files should be sent in individual emails, not all sent in one message.

Note that photos taken from magazines or any kind of publicity material will have copyright issues, and permission should be sought from the originator before submitting them. If you do use a piece of promotional material, our legal position is that you have already gained the permission of the copyright holder before submitting it, and thus we ourselves do not have any issues.

We are legally restricted from using copyrighted material for both Ian Stuart and Sincerity dresses.

If your webmail software does not work with the above link, we advise using the Reply function to the email confirmation you received after filling in the advertising form, and attaching your photo files to that email.

Advertising Step Three - Make A Payment

Sumbit your advertising fee online.

This is a once only payment for six months advertising, or until you tell us to remove your dress from the site (hopefully because it has been sold).

We do not charge any commission on dress sales.

Payment can be made online by credit/debit card, or online by money transfer using Paypal.

Advertising costs are as follows:

$20-00 (twenty dollars)
For a Basic advert featuring one photo (see live example)

$40-00 (forty dollars)
For a Multi advert featuring up to four photos (see live example)

Payments can also be made in Sterling or Euros at point of checkout.

Note that we cannot accept payment by post or email.

Its that simple !!

All adverts will be online within a couple of days of receipt of your full advertising package, that is photo(s), form, and payment.

We will use appropriate file size and resolution for your dress photos to optimize page loading times.

You will be sent a confirmation email when your advert is online.

Once your advert is live, potential buyers will contact you through our mail server. Your personal email address will not be revealed online.

If you do sell your dress successfully through our site, please let us know so we can take it off the site.
